Flashback Friday 2011 Final Card Designs

Posted on December 19, 2025December 15, 2025 by Leen

Welcome back to the craft room and today’s Flashback Friday 2011 Final Card Designs post. Back in the day, I really had a lot of fun creating different cards for Christmas. Rather than make a single card design multiple times, I spread my wings and just went for it. I canโ€™t remember the last time I did that, but Iโ€™m happy choosing one design for everyone now. Having said that, letโ€™s take a look at the final group of cards and tags that I created for 2011.

More Cards & a Tag

Here are a few more cards that I made over the weekend. The first two are single-layer cards. The card on the left was stamped onto Ivory base weight Pure Luxury cardstock and colored with colored pencils. The card on the right was made with Pure Luxury white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.

Here is another tag I made by embossing the Tim Holtz snowman with clear embossing powder. I then added Broken China Distress Ink over the top to help bring out the detail.

After making the tag, I had the idea to create this card. Again, I embossed the Tim Holtz Pine Tree stamp with clear embossing powder. I then cut it out using a Nestabilities die and added Peeled Paint Distress Ink. To add some sparkle and a touch of elegance, I used shiny gold cardstock and embossed a layer of Pure Luxury white cardstock with my Cuttlebug Victoria embossing folder. The oval is also raised with foam tape.

Here are the last two designs I did for this yearโ€™s Christmas cards. The first uses the Silent Night sheet music stamp by Morning Star paired with shiny silver cardstock.

The last card is the same design I did a few days ago, but this time I switched things up with silver and blue. Again, I used my Tim Holtz Pine Tree stamp along with the Cuttlebug Victoria embossing folder on Pure Luxury heavy base weight white cardstock.

Thank you for joining me for todayโ€™s Flashback Friday 2011 Final Card Designs post. While creating several different designs is a wonderful creative outlet, leaving them to the last minute takes some of the joy out of the holiday season for me. Do you still need to make one or two more cards at the last minute? Be sure to check out my other Christmas card designs here on the blog for a little extra inspiration.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
