It’s time for another Flashback Friday! Today I want to share with you my very first doily pattern. I created this back in May of 2000 and can still remember how proud I was of myself when it was finished. There has been a lot of very positive feedback over the years on this doily and I’ve been told it’s a great pattern for new tatters to tackle.
Blue Doily

This is a simple but pretty little doily. Made in Cebelia crochet cotton size 30 it is approximately 6 1/2″. I consider this a work in progress because there is a part of me that thinks it’s just not quite finished yet.

If you decide to give this doily a try, please let me know what you thought of the pattern and please share a picture with me so I can see your creation! A little side note, I never did pick this pattern back up to add another row, so maybe in my mind it truly is finished.
I hope your week has been a good one and that you have some fun plans for the weekend. Please join me again next Friday for another tatting flashback!
