I look forward to the first of every month when the new Sheetload of Cards sketch comes out! Once I found the Call Me Crafty Al YouTube channel I was Hooked! This particular sketch came out in April of 2022. With only 4 sheets of 6×6 pattern paper you are able to make 8 mini slimline cards. I wanted to give this sketch a try so I just created these two fun birthday cards. You can find the video for this sketch by following this link here, April 2022 SheetLoad.

The paper is from a sample pack of double sided paper that I received from Simon Says Stamp. Unfortunately, I don’t recall the name of it, but it’s a fun little pad. The sentiment and adorable images are from a small miscellaneous stamp set that I’ve had in my stash for ages.

The images and sentiment are stamped with GinaK’s amalgam ink and colored with Copic markers that matched the paper colors. I also added some fun glittery accents with my clear Wink of Stella pen.
These were so fun much to create! There is still plenty of room inside the card to write a personal message to recipient.
Have you tried making slimline cards yet? If so, do you prefer the full size or the mini? Drop me a line in the comments below and I’ll see you again soon!
