Hello my friends and Welcome back to the craft room! In today’s adventure we will be coloring with Copic Markers on Kraft card! Last Sunday I shared an I Love You card where I used Copics markers on gray card. I had so much fun with that technique I decided to keep playing.
The Flowers
The stamp set I used today is the It’s a New Day Floral set from Pinkfresh Studio. As usual, it was stamped with GinaK’s Amalgam ink on a piece of 110lb kraft card from Recollections.

I wanted to use a different color combination for the flowers so today I went for an orangy red tone with E93, R05, and R08 for the petals. The flower center was colored with YR68 and E19, and the leaves with G25 and G29.

The Background
I really liked the look of the pattern paper that I used on last week’s card, so I wanted to do that again. The pattern paper I used is from the Colorbök French Prep paper pad. I’ve had this paper in my stash for many years and am happy to have found a project for it.

The background pattern paper is cut to 3.25″ x 5″. To give it some life, dimension, and to help it stand out from the brown mat card, I added Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the edges. In the following photo, you can see the difference it made.

The sentiment is from the Garden Roses stamp set also by Pinkfresh Studio and was stamped with Amalgam Ink by GinaK.

The Finished Card- Copic Coloring on Craft
The Ivory card base and the brown mat are both from the Recollections 110lb paper pack Coffee and Cream.

I am really happy with how this card turned out! I’m curious, do you think, with a different sentiment, this card would make a good masculine card? Perhaps a Valentine for your husband or boyfriend? Let me know your opinions down in the comments.
Thank you so much for visiting the craft room today. I hope you enjoyed your stay and I’ll see you again soon!
