Welcome back to the craft room for another Flashback Friday Christmas Challenge post! In the heat of summer, it’s always refreshing to think of something coolโand what’s cooler than the best holiday ever, Christmas? It felt a little odd that StampTV hosted a Christmas challenge in June instead of waiting for July, but I was all in. Let me show you the white and silver card I created for the occasion.
Friday Christmas Challenge
This summer, StampTV introduced a brand-new challenge category: Christmas! Maybe working on holiday projects will help me stay cool while the temperatures climb. LOL! The first challenge was to create an all-white Christmas card. I decided to add a touch of silver to give it a festive sparkle, and I really love how it turned out.

The stamp I used is from Inkadinkado, heat embossed in silver for a crisp, shiny finish. I cut it out using Nestabilities Classic Oval and Scallop dies. For the background, I ran a white mat layer through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder to add texture and dimension. The bow is tied separately from the ribbon. I used GinaKโs clever trickโtying a piece of thread around the ribbon before adding the bow. It gives the look of one continuous piece of ribbon.
Thank you for joining me for today’s Flashback Friday Christmas Challenge post! I had so much fun putting together this snowy white and silver card for the challenge. It was the perfect way to bring a little holiday spirit into a hot summer day! Do you ever create Christmas cards in the off-season? Iโd love to hear if youโre joining in on any holiday crafting early this yearโlet me know in the comments! And if you’re looking for more festive inspiration, be sure to check out the other Christmas cards I’ve shared here on the blog. Until then, have a fantastic weekend and I’ll see you back in the craft room again soon!
