Welcome back to the craft room and today’s Christmas in July Sheetload of Cards post. To continue our Christmas in July theme let’s make some Christmas cards. The best way I have found to make a lot of cards at one time is to use the Sheetload technique created by Alicia from Call Me {Crafty} Al. Every month she shares a card sketch to get the most out of every piece of pattern paper. Her sketches give you the option to make a bunch of cards, or just a single card if that’s all you need. Let’s take a look at the sketch and the cards I created today.
July 2023 Sheetload of Cards
I decided to give Alicia’s July 2023 card sketch a try. With two (2) pieces of 12” x 12” pattern paper, I created 12 beautiful Christmas cards. As you can see in the image below, I decided to create horizontal top folding cards this time. The reasoning behind this was to accommodate the sentiment.

Today I’m using two (2) sheets of pattern paper from the Jingle collection by Sweetwater Scrapbook. The sentiment is from the Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous Bold Tidings Mini stamp set. As always, I stamped the sentiment with Gina K’s Amalgam ink with the help of my well loved Mini Misti by Hero Arts and My Sweet Petunia.

To attach the pattern paper to my cards today I pulled out my trusty Scotch ATG gun. This is a bulky monster, but she works like a champ every time! I also used my Mini Misti to help align the small piece of pattern paper to the sentiment block. I did have to trim up a few of the panels, but I do that all the time.

The Finished Cards
I really love how bright and cheery these cards are. I chose to mount them straight to the white card base and it really makes the colors pop.

Here is a photo of all 12 of the cards created with this sketch.

Thank you for joining me for today’s Christmas in July Sheetload of Cards post. Have you ever used a Sheetload sketch before? Here are two examples of Alicia’s sketches that’s I’ve used before; Sheetload of Birthday Cards & Mini Slimline Sheetload Birthday Card. Have an amazing week and join me next Sunday for another Christmas in July post.
